Watersportcentre Sloterplas is the best location to be outdoors in Amsterdam. Sailing, supping, canoeing, watercycling, or have a drink with a view, it’s all possible!
Learn how to sail, celebrate your birthday or join the Splashweeks in the holidays! You can also come by with your school, or organize a great teambuilding activity for your business.
Our instructors are there for you to make sure you have an unforgettable day on the water. Young and old, everyone and everything is welcome, because watersports are for everyone!
Splashweeks
Want to spend your holidays on the water? Come join the Splashweek! Everyone between 8 and 16 years old is welcome to explore the waters of the Sloterplas during the May and Summer Holidays. You can choose between different activities, such as sailing and windsurfing. If you want to do a different activity every day, check out the Allround Camp, where you can build your own raft, explore the jungle in a canoe or pedal boat, or try to balance yourself on a SUP-board. That means a lot of fun on the water!
Sailing courses
Do you want to learn how to sail? We offer sailing courses on every level for kids and adults.
We have the Optimist for kids between 8 and 12 years old. Adults can learn how to sail in the Valk. Of course we also offer private sailing lessons!
Our instructors are qualified for all the lessons and are happy to teach you how to sail.
Kids birthday parties
At the Watersportcenter you can choose 3 amazing watersport activities for kids. We have sailing, canoeing or build your own raft.
All parties are supervised by trained instructors, who will make sure you will have a memorable party!
Rental
Want to go onto the water? Come rent a boat on the beautiful Sloterplas!
Take a canoe or SUP through the nature of the Sloterpark. Relax in a pedal boat, or rent a Valk to sail on the most beautiful lake of Amsterdam!
